Fans Fans Fans is an independent art and design store, and the brainchild of owner and founder Dan.
What started out as a lockdown project to pass the time, and to help a community football club bring in some much needed funds, quickly grew and grew to the point where we find ourselves today.
I've been dabbling in graphic design for a number of years designing various posters, flyers, business cards and websites alongside my day job of managing a music shop.
When I heard about the amazing work being carried out by the newly formed community hub at FC United of Manchester, which helps feed the bodies and minds of vulnerable people across North Manchester, I decided to create a print with all the proceeds going to the club.
I was taken aback by the number of orders received, and alongside a limited edition second design, raised over £3000.
This then led to the formation of All Sport Prints, with plans to provide various styles of prints for all sports fans.
I'm always been huge fan of pretty much every sport but slightly underestimated the popularity of football artwork, so I had to initially shelve plans for further sports designs. However I was, and still am, determined to eventually find the time to do them justice as well!
For the first few orders I outsourced the printing to another company, but I soon took the plunge and decided to keep everything in house and now have a number of professional printers and equipment for all our different products in our studio.
This premium quality is something that is really important to me, and although maybe overkill I ensure that only the best standard of printers, ink, paper, products and packaging are used whilst trying to be as environmentally friendly as possible.
As the business grew online, and through word of mouth, I started to receive requests for music styled prints, so I then set about creating a collection inspired by icons of the industry.
Obviously with owning a music shop I have more than a keen interest and loved designing the artwork of numerous bands and artists I have spent hours listening too.
Further requests came in for commissions of travel destinations and TV and film inspired posters, and with also being a keen traveller and a fan of binge watching Netflix (other subscription services are available!) I decided that exploring these different styles and subjects was something I wanted to do more of going forward.
This is when I made plans to rebrand the company to Fans Fans Fans. It turns out that I’m not alone in having so many interests and my passions seem to align with others, and as our tag line suggests “we’re all fans of something!”
So now with the help of my fiancée Bekki (an interior designer whose ideas and eye for detail are impeccable!) we now provide prints, frames, canvases, mugs and mouse mats with plenty more products coming in all the time!
